This gallery features my up-to-date art. These child-friendly illustrations depict cute and colorful characters that seem to call kid lit home. This series of illustrations has a watercolor and pencil effect even though they were digitally made using the watercolor brush set by Calvin at DrifterStudio. I’ve embraced this style very much in the recent years and continue to hone my skills. Click on a year below to view the illustrations made that year.
Characters depicted here include both familiar figures and originals. Recurring characters include seven little ballet dancers, little Naomi wandering in the snow, stylish Savannah who likes to dress up, and imaginative Max with his bucket helmet. You can also find popular characters like Coraline, Link from The Legend of Zelda series, and Mirabel (Encanto) and Miguel (Coco) jamming out together. You may also see art of famous figures from theater, music, and film.
